I really enjoyed the sketchy gif video and I wanted to make a really obnoxious, eye catchy version of one. I used layer masks to remove the chameleon from its background, then I used color and overlay layer modes with a gradient fill to add more interest. I used the same chameleon overlay and sketch color throughout the animation to create unity, but I varied the background colors using palettes from colorlovers as reference.
