ABOUT

I wanted to try to add meaning to a word but in a lighthearted way. I saw these little drawings going around sometime last year where you turn a word into what the word describes and I decided to embelish it a bit and create a graphic based around it. I used my brush tool to manually draw the dog on a separate layer from the text, added a drop shadow to the text to add emphasis, and added color with the brush tool again. I adjusted the colors to create two different dogs with the hue/saturation tool. I tried to create balance by having words on one side of the drawing and adding boldness to them. I also created color variation to make the right side not as heavy by lightening the "a'.
